Role Summary

The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing nursing care across various medical/surgical units as needed. This role offers an additional hourly compensation of $1 on top of the standard pay rate.

Cullman Regional is a fully accredited medical facility that has been serving the community for decades. With a commitment to excellence, the center provides state-of-the-art healthcare services and is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of the community it serves.

Key Responsibilities

The RN will ensure high-quality patient care in alignment with the hospital's mission and nursing standards. Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participating in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
  • Managing resources effectively to promote teamwork and patient satisfaction.
Patient Care Duties

The RN will:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document care according to established protocols.
  • Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
  • Commit to patient safety initiatives, including fall prevention and medication management.
  • Provide education to patients and families in accordance with hospital guidelines.
  • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing the needs and experiences of patients.
Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN License in the state is required.
Experience:
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
