Role Summary
The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing nursing care across various medical/surgical units as needed. This role offers an additional hourly compensation of $1 on top of the standard pay rate.
Cullman Regional is a fully accredited medical facility that has been serving the community for decades. With a commitment to excellence, the center provides state-of-the-art healthcare services and is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of the community it serves.
Key Responsibilities
The RN will ensure high-quality patient care in alignment with the hospital's mission and nursing standards. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Participating in performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Managing resources effectively to promote teamwork and patient satisfaction.
The RN will:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document care according to established protocols.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Commit to patient safety initiatives, including fall prevention and medication management.
- Provide education to patients and families in accordance with hospital guidelines.
- Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing the needs and experiences of patients.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current RN License in the state is required.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
