We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.
ResponsibilitiesThe Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy. You will also assist with placement of artificial airways, initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation, and respond to emergent patient situations.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in respiratory care, including knowledge of respiratory physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service). You will also have access to education assistance, including tuition reimbursement and student loan forgiveness programs.
