About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Illinois. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe exposure.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Develop and implement protocols to improve imaging quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Limited Radiology Technician, or Radiologic Technologist.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
