We are currently seeking a Full-Time Beverage Sales Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on the Superior area and its neighboring regions. As a Sales Consultant, you will gain invaluable insights and experience in the beverage distribution sector. Our Sales Consultants receive mentorship to familiarize themselves with various sales and operational roles within our expanding organization. We are in search of a motivated individual who embodies a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture effective customer relationships
  • Facilitate the sale, distribution, and placement of all Beechwood products
  • Conduct promotional activities in accounts regularly or as needed
  • Identify and develop new accounts and placements
  • Organize and implement floor displays and brand promotion materials at all accounts
  • Balance multiple objectives to ensure smooth operations while promoting portfolio growth
  • Ensure proper product rotation and adherence to code policies
  • Merchandise accounts effectively with permanent and temporary point-of-sale materials
  • Manage accounts receivable collections in line with corporate credit policies
  • Address customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other concerns
  • Maintain a consistent schedule of weekly appointments with assigned accounts

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate hand and foot controls for driving
  • Frequent walking and climbing stairs
  • Two-handed lifting and carrying of cases from floor to overhead levels
  • Pushing and pulling carts on various surfaces
  • Frequent squatting, kneeling, and bending while handling products
  • Manual dexterity to operate business equipment, including computers and telephones

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in sales and customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy, and self-motivated with a drive for success
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of legal regulations regarding the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages
  • Capability to lift and move cases weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
