At MRG Exams, we are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About the RoleThis is an in-person position that requires reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and performing comprehensive assessments on each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal. The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This role only performs disability assessments on Veterans and does not involve treating or prescribing medication. You will review and assess 4 Veterans per day.
Requirements- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school
- An active and unrestricted psychology license
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
