About the Role

The Certified Surgical Technologist is a vital member of the operating room team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of surgical procedures. As a Surgical Technologist at MultiCare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and care of surgical patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instrumentation and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Pass instruments to the surgeon and their assistants during procedures, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and precision.
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in surgical care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration is required prior to start date.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification is required.
  • Previous experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
