Support Worker

Mars Premier Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. This role involves providing direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

• Provide daily living assistance, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment
• Document individual progress and communicate effectively with team members

• Experience or education in social work or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques
• Ability to follow medication administration protocols and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Physical ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or activities
• First aid and CPR certification is mandatory
