About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backroom Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of inventory, maintaining a clean and organized backroom, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of inventory
  • Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor
  • Monitor productivity of team and provide coaching as needed
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Team player with ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors
