This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care services within the hospital organization. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring the effective management of nursing practice and patient care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the CNO in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a unit level.
- Provide leadership and support to managers assigned to various areas of the hospital.
- Ensure the competency of clinical staff and effective resource management related to patient care.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- Proven leadership ability and hospital operational experience.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Education and Experience:
- Required: Academic degree in nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelors or Masters degree.
- Required: 2 Years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
Certifications:
- Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR.
