As a crucial member of our cardiac rehab unit, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans.
**Job Summary and Qualifications:**
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. ARNP also accepted.
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
- Two years previous RN experience working with cardiac patients, preferably on a telemetry unit or coronary care unit.
**Responsibilities:**
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner.
- Perform assessment and reassessment of the patient's physical condition and nursing needs.
- Develop, implement, and communicate patient's Plan of Care with patient.
- Care for patients with permanent pacemakers, evaluate pacemaker function on telemetry, and identify problems.
- Apply and utilize telemetry for monitoring of heart rate, regularity, and exercise tolerance.
**What We Offer:
- An estimated annual salary range of $80,000 - $120,000, based on location and experience.
