Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces, a Benevis company. As a key member of our dental healthcare team, you will provide advanced anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing dental procedures.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have an accredited Anesthesiology Residency and be able to work closely with Pediatric Dentists to ensure the safety and comfort of children requiring sedation or general anesthesia. This is a part-time position with flexible schedule options, including independent contractor positions.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-level anesthesia care for pediatric patients during office-based surgery days.
- Collaborate with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
- Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.
- Competitive compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Flexible work options: Part-time and independent contractor positions with multiple schedule choices.
- Professional growth opportunities: CE programs through ADA Accredited Continued Education Recognition Program (C.E.R.P).
- Immigration sponsorship: VISA and Green Card sponsorship where applicable.
- Educational background: Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
- Licensure and certifications: Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing; required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
- Professional experience: Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
- Collaborative approach: Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
