We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy, aligning with our company's vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Security Strategy
Develop a robust security strategy that aligns with our company's objectives, customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and economic feasibility.
Contribute to ISMS DevelopmentContribute to the development and continuous improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Train and Raise AwarenessTrain and raise awareness among employees regarding IT security risks and measures.
Collaborate with StakeholdersWork closely with international stakeholders from product development, IT, Legal, HR, and Procurement to implement the security strategy.
Ensure ComplianceEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Monitor and Coordinate Incident ResponseMonitor and coordinate incident response processes and teams to handle security incidents quickly and effectively.
Measure and Report Key Performance IndicatorsMeasure, collect, and report key performance indicators for relevant security aspects (technology, organization, development).
Manage External RelationshipsManage relationships with external security vendors and service providers.
Stay Up-to-Date with Security TrendsStay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
Requirements
- Location
Must be located in the U.S., Germany, or Poland.
EducationDegree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a comparable qualification.
ExperienceSeveral years of professional experience in IT security, preferably in a leadership role.
Knowledge and SkillsIn-depth knowledge of network security, data encryption, and compliance requirements.
Cloud Security and Application SecurityStrong understanding of cloud security, application security, and secure software development practices.
Leadership and CommunicationExperience in developing and implementing security strategies in an international and hybrid team.
Language SkillsExcellent communication skills in English, fluent German is a big plus.
