Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Delivery: Assist the Project Manager in scheduling on-site activities and ensuring timely equipment delivery.
  • System Installation: Install, program, and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low-voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, and signaling devices.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot new installations to guarantee system functionality and compliance with codes.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrate Allied Universal's core values as a skilled leader, overseeing multiple jobs simultaneously while maintaining approved hours and margin tolerances.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, or low-voltage communication industries, installing field devices, programming systems, and managing medium to large-sized jobs.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with software such as Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, or ONSSI preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess or have the ability to obtain proper state licensing (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer License, etc.).
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to complete time entry from home via the Internet.
Additional Requirements
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
  • Travel: Overnight travel may be required on an as-needed basis.
