Saratoga Hospital's Center for Breast Care is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary breast care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Breast Surgeons and Other Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with our fellowship-trained breast surgeons, advanced practice providers, and nurse navigators to coordinate multidisciplinary care across the continuum of breast care.
- Initiate Testing and Interpret Laboratory and Imaging Data: Utilize your clinical expertise to initiate testing and interpret laboratory and imaging data to inform patient care decisions.
- Provide Patient Education and Support: Develop and implement patient education programs to promote health and wellness, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Breast Conferences: Attend bi-weekly multidisciplinary breast conferences to discuss patient cases and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and advance the field of breast care.
- Current License to Practice: Possess a current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State.
- Oncology Experience: Preferably have experience in oncology, with a strong understanding of breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and management.
- Strong Clinical Skills: Demonstrate exceptional clinical patient care skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
