Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Unit Manager in Las Cruces, New Mexico. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $40.00-$42.00 per hour. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing with current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state. A minimum of one year of nurse management experience is also required, along with current BLS/CPR certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe patient care
  • Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff
  • Identify educational needs of staff and develop training programs to address these needs
  • Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and adherence to company policy
  • Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and competencies
