Job Summary

The Surgical Tech Labor and Delivery Per Diem Days is responsible for providing assistance to surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures. This includes setting up equipment, passing instruments, and maintaining aseptic technique.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Set up and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Maintain aseptic technique and ensure a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • Graduate of a surgical technician program
  • 1 year of experience as a surgical technician (preferred)
  • BLS certification
  • Surgical Technology Certification (preferred)
