Speech Language Pathologist I

Cottage Health is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist I to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and developing effective speech therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assess and treat patients with speech, language, and cognitive disorders.
  • Program Development: Interpret and implement medically prescribed speech therapy plans for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Individualized Care: Develop and implement individualized programs to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Professional Standards: Provide patient care that is consistent with the Scope of Practice Standards and Code of Ethics of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

As a Speech Language Pathologist I, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those with cultural, age, developmental, and physical impairments. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and expertise through orientation and mentorship programs.

This is an entry-level position that is ideal for new graduates or those new to the setting. With successful proficiency at this level, you will be well-prepared for progression to Level II and a successful career as a Speech Language Pathologist.
