Job Summary:The RN - Infection Prevention/Quality Specialist is responsible for leading the hospital's infection prevention and quality improvement efforts. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures to prevent and control infections, as well as analyzing and reporting data to identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement infection prevention plans to prevent and control infections
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
- Train and educate staff on infection prevention and quality improvement practices
- Collaborate with the Director of Epidemiology and the Infection Control Committee to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Lead and manage performance improvement projects to improve patient outcomes and hospital operations
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice as a Professional Nurse in the state of Tennessee
- At least 3 years of varied clinical experience
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Shift: Day
- On Call: No
- Weekends: Rotating
- Travel Required: No
