Job Overview

Direct Counsel, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for handling complex civil litigation matters from inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and Filing Legal Documents

Draft pleadings, discovery requests, memoranda, motions, and other legal documents to support our clients' interests.

  • Litigation Management

Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations, and settlement negotiations.

  • Client Counseling

Provide expert advice to clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared for the next steps.

  • Collaboration with Experts

Work closely with experts to gather evidence, analyze data, and develop effective strategies to support our clients' cases.

  • Research and Analysis

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to identify key issues, develop persuasive arguments, and support our clients' interests.

Requirements
  • Experience

A minimum of 2+ years of solid experience in litigation in State courts, with a proven track record of success.

  • Skills

Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
