We're seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Paradise Valley, Arizona. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness through the performance of MRI diagnostic imaging procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform MRI examinations on patients of all ages, adhering to department procedures and protocols.
- Locate and record internal body elements, identifying any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
- Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
- Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
- Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
- Review tests with peers and physicians.
- Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested.
- Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
- Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
- Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data into patient information systems, and update file systems for tests performed.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and adjust or refer for repair.
- Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures.
- Comply with Siemens, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedures.
- Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.
- Administer contrast agents under the guidance and approval of site Radiologists.
- Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
- Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
- Call for service and notify relevant team members.
- Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements- Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience required.
- Siemens equipment experience required.
- Valid ARRT license, registered in MRI.

- Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment and initiative.
