Job Description

VocoVision collaborates with a leading school district in Georgia to hire a remote Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year.

This part-time opportunity requires a minimum of 1+ years speech therapy experience and a valid license in both the home state and Georgia. Although residing in Georgia is not mandatory, having a valid Georgia license is necessary.

Key Details:

  • Position Type: Part-time, 2024-2025 school year
  • Hours: 15 hours per week
  • Caseload: K-7th grade students
  • Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour, paid weekly
  • Duties: Direct and indirect therapy services
  • Contract Status: Independent contractor

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, voice, language, and hearing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, articulation, and social communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to coordinate virtual therapy interventions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in a school setting.
  • Licensing: Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Up-to-date state clearances (background check, fingerprints, TB testing, etc.).
