We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Cardiology Physicians. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures to evaluate internal organs and vessels for the diagnosis of disease.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare exam rooms and explain the examination process to patients
- Position patients and assess their status and needs
- Complete diagnostic techniques and tests to ascertain patient condition and perform necessary interventions
- Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered
- Coordinate the preparation of images and documentation for physician partners
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Cardiac Sonographer credentials (ARDMS, CCI or equivalent)
- Vascular registry (preferred)
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- Associate's Degree
- At least one year of ultrasound experience
This is a contract position with a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, with no nights. The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Daytona Beach, FL and relocate to the area before starting work.
