Position Overview:The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a dynamic leader for the role of Director of Marketing and Merchandising. This pivotal position is responsible for steering the Marketing and Merchandising Office, overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of comprehensive market planning and product strategies across all retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of merchandise financial planning, product management, and vendor relations.
- Direct marketing initiatives, advertising campaigns, and in-store visual merchandising efforts.
- Provide expert guidance on purchasing and marketing strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
- Formulate and revise policies and procedures to align with the PLCB's mission of retail excellence.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform executive policy recommendations and ensure the PLCB remains a leader in the retail industry.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of nine years of professional experience in purchasing, marketing, or merchandising, including three years in program and policy planning.
- Proven supervisory experience with a focus on developing talent and fostering team collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
