Automotive Repair Team Lead

Stress Free Auto Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of automotive technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of automotive technicians
- Perform advanced diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicles
- Provide technical guidance and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members
- Collaborate closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and understanding of customer vehicle concerns
- Oversee the scheduling of repairs and maintenance jobs to optimize shop productivity and meet customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician demonstrating strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Keep a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Efficiently navigate a computer
