About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Dental Care Alliance. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services to patients, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.
  • Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education to patients, working closely with our dental team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct patient screenings, medical history reviews, and dental charting to identify and address oral health needs.
  • Apply fluoride and protective sealants to prevent tooth decay and promote healthy teeth and gums.
  • Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line, ensuring a thorough and effective cleaning.
  • Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to patients, empowering them to take control of their oral health.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by our dental team, ensuring seamless and efficient patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active hygiene license for the state in which you practice.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
