Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Driver (Non-CDL) / Laborer to join our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Lafayette, Indiana. As a Driver (Non-CDL) / Laborer, you will be responsible for safely transporting and handling customer belongings, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our moving team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the premises to ensure a positive first impression.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings.
  • Work with a team of movers to load and unload moving trucks.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and payment collection.
  • Safely drive and maneuver various sized vehicles up to a 26-foot box truck.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance restrictions.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.
  • Stamina to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing stairs, balancing, walking, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Experience as a non-CDL driver or in general labor, loading, unloading, landscaping, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly, or warehouse helpful.
  • Drug Free Workplace – all applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random screenings per Department of Transportation regulations.
