About the Role

The DevOps Engineering Manager plays a critical role in the success of strategic initiatives delivery enablement. This position requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices and principles, solutions, frameworks, and continuous delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible and accountable for the overall CICD enablement, issue escalation, and closure.
  • Strategic direction and implementation of the GI target operating model and governance.
  • Ability to lead one or multiple strategic initiatives in a distributed multi-vendor environment.
  • Work closely across peer groups to manage and implement all aspects of DevOps governance, including interface with senior executives/CIOs, program management teams, finance, and sourcing.
  • Focus on continuously improving operating efficiency through value streaming and pipeline data insights.
  • Actively manage SOW, work orders, and global resource pools to meet DevOps budget constructs.
  • Implement organizational models, governance, and engagement processes to support continuous delivery enablement.
  • Provide strong monitoring and oversight of distributed organizations in collaboration with peers and strategic sourcing partners.
  • Great attention to detail and strategic thinking with flexibility to oversee simultaneous programs.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
  • 8+ years at Architect level with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible (preferred) or Chef.
  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Native development or Infrastructure as Code.
