Physical Therapist

NASC GLOBAL is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our valued client in Ottumwa, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute inpatient rehabilitation services and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and implement individualized care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery and effective patient outcomes.
- Communicate patient progress, challenges, and necessary modifications to treatment plans to supervisors and other healthcare team members.
- Assist with patient scheduling, manage daily documentation of patient charges, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Instruct nursing staff and patients' families on follow-through programs that promote recovery and independence.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training sessions to enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Conduct presentations and workshops to support marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives.
- Active Iowa Physical Therapy License.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- A minimum of one year of physical therapy experience is preferred.
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Familiarity with rehabilitation management software.
- Experience with documentation and reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of telehealth platforms.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
