Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Meridian, Mississippi. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment and ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
This is a travel position that requires a minimum of 12 weeks commitment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and excellent communication skills.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week and 8 hours of shifts per day. This includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
About the Role:
- Operate medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and make diagnoses
- Develop and implement protocols for imaging procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
