Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our Realty One Group team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our General Counsel by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Draft and review contracts under the supervision of the General Counsel, including non-disclosure agreements, settlement agreements, lease agreements, vendor agreements, and other contractual documents.
  • Correspondence and Research: Prepare correspondences, including cease and desist letters, and perform research as assigned by the General Counsel.
  • Case Management: Maintain, update, and track claims against the company, and draft answers to subpoenas and other litigation documents.
  • Insurance and Compliance: Assist with the company's insurance renewals/applications, work closely with insurance brokers to determine best coverage options, and perform corporate compliance work.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Respond to various errors & omissions demands in writing and telephonically, and possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of work, and possess a detail-oriented, organized, process-focused, problem-solving, proactive, and customer-service-focused mindset.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Paralegal Certificate (ABA approved) and 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal, with litigation and/or franchise experience being a plus.
  • Physical and Cognitive Demands: Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and sit for various lengths of time, lift and carry items up to 20 lbs, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines with a professional demeanor.
