Job Summary

Health Images is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to support our West Littleton location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, maintaining patient safety, and contributing to the security and maintenance of the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with patients to obtain medical history and provide instructions on procedures.
  • Review patient charts for missed clinical information and consent.
  • Obtain prior films and exams as needed, and perform high-quality scans for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Monitor patient care before, during, and after exams, and notify relevant parties of any changes in patient condition.
  • Transfer images to other locations as needed, and coordinate scan protocols with Radiologists.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment, reporting any quality concerns or equipment failures.
  • Communicate with Lead Technologists and Center/Area Managers regarding departmental concerns.
Requirements
  • Two plus years' experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - preferred.
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures and provide clear instructions.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment and continuously meet company and customer expectations.
Education and Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable).
  • Current CPR certification.
