Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Resilience Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical assessments of contractor designs for security and resiliency in architectures and networks.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess the feasibility of remediation and improvements to architecture elements, including meeting implementation schedules. They will also provide technical recommendations for security and resilience improvements in systems architecture, system networking, systems integration, and operability and operational acceptance.

In addition, the selected candidate will assist in the identification and evaluation of emerging technologies and best practices leading to architecture enhancement, and security in cyber resiliency.

They will also assess, identify and evaluate the ability of architecture systems and components to meet existing and emergent mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Cyber, or additional 6 years of related work experience in lieu of Master's degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship and a Secret security clearance
  • 15 years of DoD SoS tactical platform acquisition development, allowing subject matter expert (SME) in system architecture, development, design, integration test, evaluation, and/or operations in cyber security.
  • 15 years of in-depth knowledge of DoD PEO organizational and acquisition processes, contractual methods, requirements generation, and logistical support.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD federated tactical systems architectures
  • Knowledge of existing commercial Information Technology (IT)
  • System-of-Systems (SoS) system engineering experience and knowledge
  • Writing, listening, and oral skills in order to effectively communicate with Government, educational, military, and contractor personnel as a representative of PEO-SUB at technical meetings, including (work groups, IPTs, etc.).
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 10-25% of the year.

Estimated annual salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 depending on qualifications and location (Fairfax, VA).
