Structural Drafter

Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are seeking a skilled Structural Drafter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide AutoCAD and REVIT drafting for the preparation of preliminary, detailed structural design drawings.
• Create customer-facing final drawings, sketches, and designs for single-family residential wood frame structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.
• Coordinate project designs with other disciplines.
• Identify and escalate inaccuracies in projects, project scopes, and project schedules.
• Work under the instruction of the Structural Engineer to complete designs and drafting work.

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual.
• Knowledge of building systems found within single-family residential wood frame structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit modeling tools.
• Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design.
• Professional approach to work and an outgoing personality.
