We are seeking a qualified HVAC technician with extensive experience in providing maintenance services within educational environments. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a variety of HVAC systems and ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of HVAC equipment, including but not limited to centrifugal chillers and window air conditioning units.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes and preventative upkeep for both commercial and residential units.
  • Engage directly with clients to address their technical requirements and provide exceptional service.
  • Complete and submit service reports, timesheets, and other documentation accurately and promptly, adhering to established protocols.
Qualifications:
  • 8-10+ years of experience in managing HVAC systems within commercial facilities.
  • Universal CFC Certification and an HVAC Degree or Certification are mandatory; experience with Chillers and BAS Control is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and insurability to operate a company vehicle are required.
  • Willingness to work evenings or weekends as necessary, with minimal overtime expected.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, particularly for roles in educational settings.
Personal Attributes:
  • Friendly demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and capable of utilizing smartphone technology efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills for communication, research, and recordkeeping.
Physical Requirements:
  • Position involves approximately 50% outdoor and 50% indoor work, often requiring prolonged periods of standing.
  • Ability to work on lifts, scaffolding, tall ladders, and in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, typically requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend emergency duties.
