Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our maintenance team. As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our properties by providing high-quality painting services. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Ensure color consistency and accuracy by mixing paints or matching existing colors.
  • Implement appropriate painting techniques and ensure smooth and even coverage.
  • Apply finishes to cabinets, doors, trims, and other woodwork as required.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
  • Solid knowledge of various painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Basic understanding of color theory and the ability to match colors accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and the ability to follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
  • Dependable transportation, good driving record, current automobile insurance, and valid driver's license.
