The Registered Nurse (RN) - Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care Float Position is a dynamic role that requires a skilled and adaptable nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a float nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various units, including Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care, and develop your skills in a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine and complex care to patients in accordance with their treatment plans, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the patient's physical, psychosocial, social, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in unit-specific competencies and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety, quality care, and efficient unit operations.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in Medsurg/Telemetry and Intermediate Care required.
- 5 years of experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- RN License in the state of employment or compact required.
Full-time position with a TBD work schedule.
