About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Winona Health. As a part-time LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
About the Position:
This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) position with 40 hours worked per pay period. You will work on 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10 pm, with weekends and holidays covered every other week. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing and exercising nursing judgment in the care of residents through the nursing process. You will also interact with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and community members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs.
• Accurately document resident care, medication information, medication administration, and change of condition.
• Supervise unlicensed staff and delegate duties effectively using excellent communication techniques.
• Assume nurse charge responsibility after hours, on weekends, and in the absence of an RN on duty.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• 12 Continuing Education Credits/2 years.
• CPR Certification.
• LPN License - MN.
• Basic computer skills.
• Patient information database (Cerner, EMR, Matrixcare).
