Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing structural and sheet metal welding, cutting oxygen acetylene and plasma, and performing iron work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain productivity levels according to plant goals.
  • Adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
  • Properly report labor.
  • Read blue prints as necessary.
  • Perform structural and sheet metal welding.
  • Cut oxygen acetylene and plasma.
  • Perform iron work.
  • Reconnect building.
  • Perform arc gouging.
  • Perform in-process self inspections.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred.
  • Read and write English.
  • Able to read Tape measure.
  • Knowledge of company safety policies.
  • 2 yrs. of welding experience preferred.
