Physician Empire is seeking an experienced Medical Director to join our team at a 120-bed psychiatric facility in Massachusetts. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will oversee our OPPE and FPPE processes, PI/Quality program, utilization review committee, and physician recruitment/retention efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team of practitioners, clinicians, nurses, and support staff who provide quality care for adolescents, adults, and older adults in both inpatient and PHP levels of care.
Responsibilities- Oversee OPPE and FPPE processes to ensure high-quality patient care
- Lead the PI/Quality program to drive continuous improvement
- Chair the utilization review committee to optimize resource allocation
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement physician recruitment and retention strategies
- Carry a caseload of 8-10 patients to maintain clinical expertise
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Passion for providing excellent care in a cost-effective, changing healthcare environment
