About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Optician to join our team as an Optical Keyholder at Warby Parker. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading the Optical team, and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to understand their eyewear needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with precision and accuracy.
- Lead and mentor the Optical team, including participants of our Optician Apprentice Program.
- Work with store management to maintain operational, service, and staff zoning procedures.
- Foster a positive and productive employee culture in the store.
Requirements:
- A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience.
- Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
