We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Head Cashier to join our team at Natural Grocers. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cash registers, training and directing cashiers, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and managing cash and credit transactions.
• Train and direct cashiers to ensure they are knowledgeable about our products and services, and provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor and maintain the front-end area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Provide World Class Customer Service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash and balancing the register.
• Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a grocery or natural foods environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
