Position Overview:
As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for executing packaging tasks in alignment with client specifications.
Operate packaging machinery efficiently to minimize risks and ensure safety.
Monitor the functionality of equipment and perform minor maintenance as necessary.
Adhere to safety protocols for handling both hazardous and non-hazardous materials, in accordance with facility standards and environmental guidelines.
Maintain an adequate supply of all necessary packaging materials (such as pallets, slip sheets, tape, labels, waste containers, ties, etc.)
Uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including 12-hour shifts.
- Availability for overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, face shields, arc-rated clothing, and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).
- Capability to work in a high-risk environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and perform various physical activities including standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching overhead, and responding to alarms, with visual acuity for detailed tasks.
