Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Video Assistant to join our Player Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing video and data collection, as well as managing travel logistics and administrative duties for their assigned affiliate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chart, manage, and distribute all game and practice video and data for their assigned affiliate.
  • Assist with Major League and Minor League video and data collection during Spring Training.
  • Coordinate all aspects of break camp travel and itinerary for players and staff going to their assigned affiliate.
  • Manage all aspects of affiliate travel and admin duties including flights, hotel reservations, and bus schedules.
  • Work in conjunction with coaches and analysts to assist with advance scouting reports prior to each series and game.
  • Capture and upload non-game video including bullpens, batting practice, defensive drills, etc.
  • Oversee all high-speed video capture and upload processes for games and practices.
  • Manage Trackman and HawkEye operations and workflow at assigned affiliate.
  • Assist Amateur, International, and Pro Scouting departments with miscellaneous video needs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience charting games with BATS is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a professional baseball clubhouse is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of baseball rules and how to score a baseball game.
  • Ability to accurately identify pitch types.
  • Previous Experience with baseball technologies such as Trackman, Edgertronics, KinaTrax, HawkEye, etc. is preferred.
  • Available to work long hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to carry heavy equipment, climb stairs, and set up cameras around a stadium setting.
