Responsibilities

The Cloud Solutions Engineer is recognized as a key expert within the organization, tackling exceptionally intricate technical challenges and delivering highly innovative solutions. This role involves determining and pursuing necessary actions to achieve desired outcomes. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with significant experience or a Master's degree with relevant experience.

The primary responsibilities of the Cloud Solutions Engineer include:

  • Designing and implementing optimized network infrastructures to enhance performance and resilience.
  • Providing cloud engineering expertise to create comprehensive mission systems (infrastructure/platform/applications/process) solutions within cloud environments.
  • Offering guidance and mentorship to development teams to foster cloud competencies.
  • Establishing metrics for application uptime and utilization scaling, enabling effective monitoring and enhancements.
  • Defining standard policies and compliance metrics for monitoring cloud operations, issuing corrective responses as necessary.
  • Creating a performance and cybersecurity monitoring framework, conducting continuous monitoring, and reporting for corrective actions.
  • Implementing and maintaining Zero Trust Architectures (ZTA) standards; delivering informative documents proposing emerging cloud technologies and best practices relevant to the mission domain.
  • Establishing methods for risk identification and tracking, ensuring visibility of the hosting environment infrastructure and hosted applications.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Must possess and maintain TS/SCI with Poly.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with various cloud providers, including Microsoft (Azure), AWS, Oracle, IBM, Google, etc.
  • BS degree with 10-12 years of experience, MS degree with 8-10 years, or PhD with 5-7 years of experience.

Desired:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
