Gilmour Academy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing excellent service, ensuring that service requests and repairs are completed correctly and in a timely manner. They will also be responsible for operating vehicles and maintenance equipment safely and promoting positive interactions with staff, students, parents, and the public.

**Working Conditions**

The Maintenance Technician will be required to climb ladders, scaffolds, and stairs, and will need to be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling various supplies and materials up to a maximum of 80 pounds. Work will be frequently performed outdoors during all types of weather, and the individual will be required to stand, reach, stretch with hands and arms, crouch, stoop, kneel, and climb regularly. Rotating weekend coverage is also required.

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid Ohio driver's license
* Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment
* Required to complete a background check through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation fingerprint report in conformity with State of Ohio Law
* Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently
* Able to lift 80 pounds
