We are excited to announce the availability of a challenging and rewarding Physician (Spinal Cord Injury) position within the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Job Details:
This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until September 30, 2025. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be November 7, 2024 with subsequent cut off dates on a bi-weekly basis. This announcement may close without prior notification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in educational and research activities to advance the field of spinal cord injury medicine.
Requirements:
- A Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Compensation Package:
- A competitive salary ranging from $244,000 to $350,000 per year.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, retirement plan, health insurance, and licensure.
