Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and caring Care Professionals to join our team as Overnight Care Professionals. As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders to ensure clients' daily needs are met
  • Support clients with grooming, bathing, and toileting, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Run errands and assist with transportation, helping clients maintain their independence
  • Deliver Alzheimer's and dementia care, using person-centered approaches to support clients with complex needs
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age and a valid driver's license, with a reliable vehicle
  • 6 months of experience working in a nursing home or healthcare agency environment, with adults
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds, with physical stamina to perform tasks
  • Commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect, and communicating in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and DMV check
