Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Medical Care Provider to join our team. As a Physician Assistant Resident, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient conditions by obtaining medical histories, physical data, and reviewing medical records.
  • Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures to evaluate illnesses.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient data.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient satisfaction and quality care.
  • Document patient information and review typed dictations.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and families on diagnosis, testing, treatment, and prevention.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes by reviewing diagnostic results and patient feedback.
  • Support the development of our physicians' assistants, nursing staff, and medical support staff.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and promote fiscal viability.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and fulfill compliance responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Professional degree beyond Bachelor's (e.g., MD, DDS, JD)
  • Substance Control Registration

Working Conditions:

  • Medium to Heavy effort, exerting up to 35 lbs. force
  • Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
