Forensic Psychiatrist

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join TRADITIONS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH as a Forensic Psychiatrist, where you will serve as the Chief Medical Officer and lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and medical services, policies, and quality assurance programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide medical leadership and direction to the healthcare facilities division, overseeing all aspects of medical care provided to patients, clients, and residents.
- Develop and implement clinical and medical services, policies, and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to evaluate and treat patients with complex medical and psychiatric problems, providing diagnosis and treatment through supervision, direct service psychotherapy, and preparation of psychiatric-legal evaluations and reports.

Requirements

- A Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree and completion of an appropriate residency program approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Montana or will obtain license to practice medicine in the State of Montana within twelve months of starting the position.
