About the JobWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with respiratory disorders.
Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Texas.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a critical care unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
